These guys have been kicking goals with Automation for quite a few years, culminating in the 2022 Tech Innovation Award Win from the International Fresh Produce Association (IFPA) for our APORO Robotic Produce Packer.

And, great as the Aporo is, it’s only one of the great range of automation the team have available to help make produce packing more efficient, affordable and achievable for every packhouse.

Tim Bond

Sales Manager Automation – Tim joined the J-Tech team in 2016 after working with multinational companies like Visy, Hallmark, Canon and Mercedes-Benz in both engineering and sales roles. He’s got an Honours Degree in Mechanical Engineering and he has the enviable ability to think outside the box to come up with automation solutions that are practical, to deliver the best possible outcomes for customers.

Matt Williams

Sales Executive Automation – Matt rejoined the team at J-Tech in 2021 after a stint in logistics management in Mildura. He has a great ability to understand and empathise with the needs of his customers as well as the changing needs of the industry. He always aims to deliver the most efficient solutions with automation while reducing waste and improving sustainability for the industry as a whole.

Rohan Ovens

Project Manager – Rohan started at J-Tech back in 2002 as a service technician, before moving into Automation sales in 2011. As the need for automation in packing sheds has grown, Rohan has moved into Project Management, working through every phase, from design and scope of projects through to implementation and commissioning. His goal is delivering the best possible solutions and outcomes for J-Tech customers with automation.
