The J-Tech team are really excited to win the UPL Tech Innovation Award for 2022 for the APORO Robotic Produce Packer. 

J-Tech Systems Sales Manager Automation, Tim Bond was on hand at the Hort Connections gala dinner in Brisbane to accept the award. ‘Winning the 2022 Tech Innovation Award for APORO Robotic Produce Packer is huge for us’  Tim said  ‘Aporo is a real game changer in pack-houses, with how it’s helping to fill the gap in the labour market, in delivering a consistent high-quality presentation of fruit in trays and speeding up delivery to market’ he said.

The win is an exciting addition to just how well APORO is being received in the Australian produce market. We all know how difficult it’s been for the fresh produce industry with staff over recent years, and APORO significantly increases the output of produce while reducing how many people are needed to pack, meaning they can be relocated to other pressure points in the shed.
